Install the Katmai App on Your Dock, Taskbar, or Desktop
Use your browser’s native tools to make Katmai feel like a standalone desktop app.
If Katmai is part of your daily workflow, adding it as an app helps you:
- keep Katmai visible
- avoid losing it in open browser tabs
- launch your office faster
- treat Katmai more like a true workspace
Let's start with a quick question:
Which Katmai page should I install?
Option 1, Install your main virtual office
Use this if you primarily work from one Katmai office or space. (Best for most users.)
- Open your main Katmai office.
- Install that page as an app.
- Launch directly into that space from your Dock, taskbar, or desktop.
Option 2, Install your Katmai dashboard
Best if you regularly move between multiple Katmai spaces.
- Go to your Katmai dashboard.
- Install the dashboard as an app.
- Launch into the dashboard and choose the space you want.
You can also reach your dashboard anytime by going to app.katmaitech.com.
Getting back to your dashboard from a space
If you install your main virtual office but later need to access other spaces:
- Click the mountain icon in the top-left of your Katmai screen.
- Click Exit Space on the far right of the toolbar that opens.
- You’ll return to your dashboard.
You can also go directly to app.katmaitech.com.
