What the price does and doesn't include
- The $12 rate needs annual billing. Month to month is $15, 25% more.
- No free plan. Gather's support site says that after September 15, 2025, free access ended and offices on free plans were no longer available unless upgraded. After the 30-day trial, you pay or lose the office.
- Guests are free. Gather's pricing page says "You pay for your team, not your guests."
- Single sign-on is Custom only. Teams that need SSO have to leave the published price.
- Avatars, not video presence. The price buys a pixel-art map. Video is for meetings, not for being present all day.
What Gather costs a team
Ten members on Essential cost $120 a month billed annually, which is $1,440 for the year, or $150 a month billed monthly. Twenty-five members cost $300 a month billed annually, or $375 billed monthly. Guests add nothing.
What changed at Gather
Gather 2.0 launched on September 15, 2025, with new pricing and no free tier. In February 2026, Gather announced it would continue as an independent, non-venture-backed business, and its AI team joined Figma. Gather told customers that nothing changes for them. It is still sold, with a 30-day free trial.
